Changelog
What is new in SnapState.
SnapState 2.7.2
- Apps go back to the Space they were saved on, including apps that reopen on the wrong desktop during a restore.
- Windows saved in full screen are restored in full screen.
- Windows no longer jump when you switch Spaces after a restore. Each window is placed once and then left where you put it.
- With more than one display, windows that ended up on the wrong display go back to their saved display and Space, and frames on a second display set higher or lower than the main one are restored exactly.
- macOS moves an app with all of its windows, so an app whose windows were saved on several Spaces is not split between them. Re-save workspaces made before 2.7.2 so they record each window Space.
SnapState 2.7.1
- Fixes a login item error that could appear on first launch.
- Offers to move SnapState to Applications when it is opened from Downloads or the disk image.
SnapState 2.7.0
- Multi-Space support: SnapState saves windows on every Space and restores layouts across multiple Spaces. Each Space is restored when you switch to it.
- New Include windows on all Spaces setting, on by default.
- More reliable window matching when an app has several windows.
SnapState 2.6.0
- Saves and restores every open browser tab in Safari, Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc and Chromium.
- Automatic updates, with a Check for Updates menu item.
- Capture keeps working when a browser has Automation permission turned off.
